Its time for another episode of 'The Bakery Bears Radio Show!'
Today you join us as we go in search of a boating lake. At the height of the age of the railways, our home town was like a Monaco of the 1900's and on the outskirts of town from 1900-1920, there was a huge boating lake.
In todays show we go in search of that lake, and along the way we'll be pondering has society moved too far too fast?
So join your hosts today as they:
- Discuss some the challenges we all face living a world which seems to progress forward faster by the day
- Talk through some of the issues that have faced personally
- Consider if what we're dealing with in the world at the moment is a technological revolution, perhaps similar to the industrial revolution
- Find and recreate the photograph included in this post over 100 years on!
- Find the photos from todays show here https://www.patreon.com/posts/bakery-bears-16-33905491

Kay-You are right. Horse Chestnuts are known as Buckeyes in the US. I live in Ohio and the Buckeye tree is our state tree. The Ohio State University American football team is known as the OSU Buckeyes. Go Bucks! The best thing about them though are the candies known as Buckeyes-peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate and made to look like the nut. Maybe we should call them conkers? 🙂❤
